Ing. Jan Tůma, TeachMeATPL Founder
- Graduated from the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, programmes Operations and Management of Air Transport and Professional pilot, and next from the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies – programme Specialization in Pedagogy, Technical Teacher Education (didactics), and is a holder of the International Engineering Educator accreditation
- Works as a Phenom 300 Captain, flew the B737NG/MAX and used to fly for a while the A320 and before that he had been working for an unnamed training organisation as an office rat
- Has been teaching for more than 15 years, having begun long time ago in student’s age as a German, English, Spanish, Latin, Mathematics and Physics teacher
- Works also as a B737NG/MAX Type Rating Instructor (TRI), ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, CRM Trainer, English language instructor and Teaching&Learning instructor in the Czech Aviation Training Centre and also as a PPL Theoretical Knowledge Instructor and ICAO English examiner in SkyOffice, where he spends a lot of his free time on sightseeing flights
- Works as a teacher for the Transportation High School in Prague to significantly reduce the number of lazy, deceitful and not very well behaving students of the last grade
- Does not have much time for sport, but likes to walk, sometimes you may see him riding the bicycle or jumping into the swimming pool, years ago he used to walk the dog; he loves anything sweet, etymology, Czech and foreign cinematography and the Prague Lesser Town where his line has been living for more than two centuries
